Remember what a great time you had at the Friends of Pool 9 annual meeting and auction? Well, mark your calendar now to attend the 2013 event!
On September 28, the Friends of Pool 9 (FOP9) annual meeting will once again include a volunteer appreciation dinner and silent auction fundraiser featuring donations from various area businesses and individuals. Valued volunteers will be recognized in this annual tradition and wonderful auction items will be available for bid. Monies raised will be utilized to support some of the organization’s long time events as well as new projects and goals. As a 501c3 federally tax exempt non profit organization, the 600 member organization pays for its activities through donations and grants. The communities that border Pool 9 are its primary contributors and supporters but several annual fund-raising events are necessary to support the FOP9 mission.
So, plan to attend – because it wouldn’t be the same without you!!
I’ll forward monthly reminders and updates as plans evolve but be sure to check the website, friendsofpool9.org for all organization events and notices. Meanwhile, please be sure to share any suggestions regarding how we may make this event bigger and better than ever before. I’ll see you there!

The Friends of Pool 9 2012 Silent Auction was a huge success! Below are a few photos of the auction set-up and the donor board. Please be sure to recognize the business donors with your patronage and, for the individual donors noted, express thanks for their support of Friends of Pool 9. Finally, thanks to all who attended and for your generous bidding!
